I have this yarn, dyed as photographed sort of by accident, and I don’t know if it should become a regular. If I keep it I’ll call it Amputate?, as it’s fleshy, gorey, flesh-woundish colors remind me of gross zombie infections. What do you think? Is it too gross?

Amputate will drive off some folks. From reading Remnants, apparently some people don’t buy yarn if they don’t like the name!
Playing on Cassy’s suggestion, I did a yarn once in maroon and orange I called Velvet Bordello. Feel free to snag the name–I think it suits this colorway nicely.
That’s a really good point. I’m not sold on the name, I’ve got a few in mind but I need to figure out whether or not to keep the color first. I think I might.
